In case you ever need to know, rubbing alcohol will effectively remove orange silly putty from long blond little girl hair. (The colors, lengths, and genders are for story-telling purposes only and need not apply. It'll work either way.)

This is not some useless wives' tale I've heard floating around the block. It's tried and true. It's also not a bit of knowledge one should ever find need for, yet I did. And there you have it.

Fear not the hair putty! You have a defense.

My dad is a great guy. He doesn't really know it though. He's worked hard all his life, and now that I'm an adult, I can appreciate that and admire it. A lot of the good things about me are because of him. He taught me, "If you're gonna do something, do it right." And, "A place for everything and everything in its place." He also taught me that I could do anything I wanted if I was willing to work hard enough for it. Some dads push their own dreams for their children and the kids end up resenting it. My dad never did that. He's always supported my dreams, even when they seem out of reach. My dad has always allowed me to carry my own opinions even when they contradict his. So happy fathers' day, Dad. I love you. Thanks for being a truly great guy!
