Bungled

When the good and wise people at the yarn store offer to roll your expensive Kraemer Sterling into balls, DO NOT SAY, "No thank you." Maybe you don't have much time, maybe you don't think it's worth the trouble of waiting around, or maybe you arrogantly assume, "I can do that myself." Well, ASS u ME. No you can't. You can't do it yourself. You will only make a right royal mess out of the cobwebby $18.00/skein silky silvery stuff.

Yarn Mess

The only potential silver lining is that I've located the other end. But I'm not really moving any faster toward undoing the mess I've made.

Both Ends

You need to be a knitting blogger. This cracked me up.

Do you want some help unraveling? I love to do stuff like that. You need to come watch the parade sometime anyway, so come over some night this week and I'll wind while you watch the parade.

Teri:

I will defintely keep you updated on the puppies and status of homes. They are so cute but we really can't keep them. Our dog, Maya, is very affectionate and sweet so I'm hoping all the pups got her personality. : )

If you bought it at my shop, Natural Stitches, feel free to bring it in and I'll see if I can help you personally.

Thanks Martha. I did buy it at Natural Stitches, and fortunately I've finally untangled it. Although, I have the same yarn in white, and I will bring it in and have it rolled before I try doing anything with it.
